Smashing Pumpkins, Kanye West, 30 Seconds To Mars Headline SINGfest 2010

SINGAPORE – Music fans rejoice! SINGfest 2010 is returning to Fort Canning Park from August 3 – 5, bringing diverse names in music to the highly anticipated outdoor music festival in Singapore.

The 2010 line-up includes American singer Katy Perry, alternative band Smashing Pumpkins, rapper Kanye West, Australian singer-guitarist Orianthi, South Korean sensation Wonder Girls, soul and blues singer Diane Birch, rock trio 30 Seconds to Mars, Canadian metal band Hail the Villain and English musician Ian Brown. More exciting acts will be announced in a few days.

“We aim to be the best as a music festival, thanks to the fans that had given enormous support to SINGfest since it started in 2007. This year, we are proud to present brilliant acts across all genres which Singaporeans will enjoy. We want the festival to be a talking point every year and something to look forward to every August,” says Michael Hosking, Managing Director of Midas Promotions.

The last sold out festival in 2008 attracted 20,000 fans over 2 days. This year dates are extended due to popular demand. Doors will open daily at 5pm and the first act to come on at 6pm.
